Welcome to Email Support.
Currently we support IMAP and POP3 email accounts. What that really means is that you can retrieve your email through whatever email program you would like to use. There are a couple of important things that you need to know when you set up the program you are going to use to retreive your email.
• We use secure communications when you connect with our server. So it is important that you click the SSL option in your email program. This is to protect you from any prying eyes when sending or receiving email.
• We do not relay email through our server unless you are a registered user with us. So if you have multiple email accounts with multiple vendors make sure to only send email to our server for the email accounts on our server.
• If using POP3 to retrieve your email you will need to use port 995 to retrieve your email.
• If using IMAP to retrieve your email you will need to use port 993 to retrieve your email.
• You have two options for the host name that you retrieve your email from. The first,
is to take your domain name and put mail at the beginning. For example, mail.mydomain.com. Or you can use the
standard email server name of mail.tdmwebconsulting.com. Either will connect you to the mail server to retrieve your
email.• When sending email our servers require authentication. So it is important to make sure you click the SSL option and Authentication Type of 'Password' when setting up the outgoing mail server in your email program.
If you are having any problems setting up your email account with the email address and password that we have given you, please feel free to contact us and ask for help. You can contact us via the Report Trouble link and we'll get back with you very shortly.
